**About the role:  
**We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Settlement Officer to join our team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the efficient execution of daily settlement activities, accurate reconciliation of accounts, and maintenance of financial records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting payment processing with third-party providers, responding to customer cases, and preparing transaction remittances.

  
**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Monitor and process client deposits and withdrawals in a timely and accurate manner.
-   Follow up on pending, delayed, rejected, or failed settlement transactions with internal teams and external PSPs.
-   Perform daily reconciliation between CRM records, PSP portals, bank statements, crypto wallets, and internal settlement reports.
-   Track PSP balances and escalate any potential funding shortages or abnormal balance movements.
-   Support settlement execution for fiat, e-wallet, bank transfer, local transfer, and crypto payment methods.
-   Identify transaction discrepancies, investigate root causes, and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve issues.
-   Communicate with PSPs, banks, internal operations, finance, compliance, and customer support teams when required.
-   Maintain accurate settlement records, reports, and supporting documentation.
-   Assist with PSP onboarding, testing, transaction monitoring, and operational workflow improvement.
-   Support weekend, public holiday, and extended-hour coverage based on roster requirements.
-   Escalate high-risk or abnormal settlement cases according to internal SOPs.
-   Ensure all settlement activities are handled with accuracy, confidentiality, and proper risk control.

## Requirements

-   At least 1 year of relevant experience in settlement operations, payment operations, finance operations, banking operations, PSP operations, or a similar role.
-   Experience in handling deposits, withdrawals, reconciliation, payment channels, or client fund operations is preferred.
-   Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when handling transaction data and financial records.
-   Good sense of responsibility, accountability, and risk awareness, especially when dealing with client funds.
-   Able to work under pressure and respond quickly to urgent settlement issues.
-   Willing to support shift work, extended-hour coverage, weekends, and public holidays when required.
-   Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal teams and external payment partners.
-   Basic Excel or Google Sheets skills are required; experience with reporting, reconciliation files, or dashboards is a plus.
-   Able to follow SOPs carefully while also identifying process gaps or improvement opportunities.
-   Fluent in English; additional language skills such as Chinese, Japanese, or other regional languages would be an advantage.
-   Honest, careful, organized, and able to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
-   Candidates with experience in fintech, payment service providers, or financial services operations will be preferred.
