## Description

**Operations Supervisor**

We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Supervisor to lead our recycling, waste collection. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key leadership role where your decisions make a real impact on local communities and environmental services.

Working closely with the Operations Manager, you’ll take ownership of daily operations, ensuring services run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

### **What You’ll Be Doing**

-   Leading and coordinating daily operations – from crew deployment to vehicle and equipment allocation
-   Ensuring services are delivered on time and meet contractual standards
-   Managing and supporting frontline teams, including performance, attendance, and development
-   Overseeing schedules and resources to keep everything running efficiently
-   Promoting a strong health & safety culture and ensuring full compliance
-   Monitoring performance and quickly resolving operational issues
-   Building strong relationships with Local Authority clients and stakeholders
-   Identifying ways to improve services and drive additional value

### **What We’re Looking For**

-   Experience in a supervisory or team leader role (waste, logistics, or similar operational environment preferred)
-   Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
-   Confident communicator with the ability to lead and motivate teams
-   Good understanding of health & safety practices
-   Full, valid UK driving licence (able to drive vehicles up to 3.5T).
