# Manufacturing Engineer II

## Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to support manufacturing operations at a regulated manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas. This role provides engineering support to production, driving process improvements, troubleshooting equipment and process issues, and supporting quality and compliance activities.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Provide day-to-day engineering support to manufacturing lines, including equipment and process troubleshooting.
-   Identify and implement process improvements to increase yield, efficiency and product quality.
-   Support nonconformances, investigations, root cause analysis and CAPAs.
-   Author and update manufacturing procedures, work instructions and technical documentation.
-   Support change controls, equipment qualification and process validation activities.
-   Work cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Maintenance and other Engineering teams.

## Requirements

**Education**

-   Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Biomedical or related)

**Preferred Qualifications**

-   Manufacturing engineering experience in a regulated environment (medical device, pharmaceutical or similar)
-   Working knowledge of GMP/quality system requirements, validation and change control
-   Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving tools

**Key Skills**

-   Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
-   Clear technical writing and communication
-   Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production environment

## Benefits

-   Contract position: approximately 24 months, starting October 2026
