> Birdman · Guadalajara, Mexico · Full-time · Posted 2026-08-25

**Workplace:** on_site

**Department:** Marketing

## Description

### About the Company

**Birdman** is a fast-growing, plant-based consumer brand on a mission to nourish people with nutritious, sustainable, and delicious foods — free from animal cruelty and with a smaller environmental footprint. We operate with a strong builder mindset, combining creativity, data, and execution to scale brand presence and cultural relevance across markets.

**Birdman Studio** is our in-house creative unit, responsible for bringing brand strategy to life through high-quality, culturally relevant content. The Studio combines creative excellence, production expertise, and speed to create content that connects with consumers and drives impact across the funnel.

### Job Description

We are looking for a **Multimedia Designer & Editor** to own **post-production at Birdman Studio**, transforming all audiovisual material produced by the team — primarily footage captured by the Content Creator — into polished, engaging, publication-ready content.

This role is where **audiovisual material becomes brand**. You will take content from raw footage to final delivery through **editing, motion graphics, animation, color, sound, and pacing**, ensuring every piece has strong storytelling, creative judgment, and the production quality expected by Birdman.

You will work closely with the **Content Production Lead**, who owns creative routes and leads end-to-end audiovisual production, as well as with the **Content Creator, Art Director, Social & Community, Brand Management, and Performance & Ecommerce teams**.

You will be responsible for delivering master content and platform-specific versions for **tactical and hero campaigns**, as well as the native adaptations required across different digital platforms and ecosystems.

This is a **hands-on, specialist, and highly creative role**, with no direct reports. As the sole post-production role within Birdman Studio, you will own the editing and post-production quality standard for all content coming out of the Studio.

### Key Responsibilities

- Own the **post-production of all content** generated by Birdman Studio, transforming raw footage into finished pieces, from tactical content to hero campaigns.
- Elevate the production value of every piece through **motion graphics, animation, color grading, sound design, and post-production finishing**.
- Build the **storytelling of each piece through editing**, developing narrative, rhythm, and emotion from the available footage, with strong creative judgment.
- Create and deliver **master content and multiple versions** together with the Content Production Lead, including masters for tactical and hero campaigns, cutdowns, and platform-specific adaptations.
- Maintain **graphic and motion identity consistency**, including typography, supers, and end cards, in line with brand guidelines and in collaboration with the Art Director and Design team.
- Create and iterate different versions and cutdowns for **Paid Media**, working with Performance & Ecommerce and using performance data to optimize content.
- Maintain an organized post-production and archiving workflow for the Studio, including footage libraries, project files, versions, and delivery workflows, ensuring assets can be easily found, reused, and re-versioned.
- Stay current with **editing techniques, motion trends, formats, and AI-assisted post-production tools**, incorporating new solutions that improve quality and production efficiency.

**Are you ready to take the flight?**

## Requirements

### Experience

- Bachelor's degree in **Film, Audiovisual Production, Motion Design, Communication, or a related creative field**.
- **+3 years of experience** as a Video Editor and/or Motion Designer in production houses, creative agencies, or in-house brand studios.
- **+2 years of experience in motion graphics and animation using After Effects or an equivalent tool**, with demonstrated original motion work rather than template-only execution.
- **+2 years of experience editing content for culturally relevant consumer brands**, with experience producing high-volume, _social-first_, and platform-native digital content.
- **Reel / portfolio required**, including pieces where you owned the editing end-to-end and clearly specifying your contribution to each project: editing, motion, color, and/or sound.
- Experience with **color grading and sound post-production** is desirable.

### Technical Skills

- **Post-production:** video editing, motion graphics, animation, color grading, sound design, and VFX fundamentals.
- **Storytelling & content:** narrative construction, rhythm and pacing, _social-first_ formats, _liquid & linked_ content, and platform-native versioning.
- **Brand:** understanding of brand toolkits and guidelines, typography and supers in motion, end cards, and creative taste standards.
- **Tools:** proficiency in **Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve**, or equivalent tools, as well as audio tools such as Audition or similar.
- **Asset management:** organization of audiovisual assets, project files, versions, and delivery workflows.
- **AI-assisted post-production:** knowledge and experience using AI tools to optimize editing and post-production processes.

### What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone with a **strong reel and creative judgment**, who can work autonomously and take ownership of a piece from start to finish. For this role, the quality and range of the portfolio matter more than having necessarily worked at a well-known company.

The challenge is to produce **agency-level content with in-house resources**, while simultaneously maintaining the volume of tactical content and hero campaigns without compromising the creative standard.
