The Position 

We are looking for a GIS Analyst who is passionate about delivering projects with a positive impact. The successful candidate will be both independent and collaborative, and will have the desire to continuously learn and teach others about the latest geospatial technologies. You'll work with a talented team to analyze spatial data and build modern web GIS applications that have a direct impact on our clients and their global missions. Along the way, you'll join client conversations, help shape next steps on projects, and grow into a trusted voice for both your team and our clients.

Primary Responsibilities 

-   Preparing, publishing, and maintaining GIS data for web mapping applications in ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise 

-   Configuring and supporting ArcGIS Solutions and Esri configurable apps, including ArcGIS Dashboards, Experience Builder, Field Maps, Survey123, and StoryMaps 

-   Working with clients to acquire, process, and organize data 

-   Performing spatial and raster analysis 

-   Designing clear, visually compelling maps, including symbology, labeling, pop-ups, and layouts for web and print 

-   Automating repetitive data workflows in Python, ModelBuilder, FME, or similar 

-   Documenting workflows and helping teammates learn tools and best practices

## Requirements

Must Haves:

-   1 to 3 years of professional experience in the GIS industry 

-   Demonstrated knowledge of ArcGIS Pro 3.x, including extensions such as Spatial Analyst and 3D Analyst 

-   Experience with ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise 

-   Strong oral and written communication skills, including explaining technical work to non-technical audiences 

-   Strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot complex problems 

-   Keen interest in learning new technology and sharing what you learn with others 

-   Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, GIS, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience 

-   Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor for this position. 

-   Nice to Have 

-   Python scripting experience (ArcPy and/or the ArcGIS API for Python) 

-   Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and enterprise geodatabases 

-   Arcade expressions for Dashboards, pop-ups, and Field Maps 

-   Esri technical certifications 

-   Involvement in the GIS community, such as conferences, user groups, or webinars 

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is 60,000 - 80,000 depending on experience and skill set.
