### **Registered Nurse (RN)**

**Hospital - Float Pool**

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool provides high-quality patient care across multiple units within a **hospital setting**. This full-time, day-shift role supports staffing needs across multiple departments while ensuring safe, consistent, and patient-centered care. The ideal candidate is adaptable, clinically strong, and experienced in high-acuity environments.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

-   Provide direct patient care across assigned **hospital units** based on operational needs
-   Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
-   Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders
-   Monitor patient condition and respond promptly to changes in status
-   Float to Emergency Department and other critical care areas as needed
-   Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary hospital teams
-   Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions
-   Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
-   Follow all hospital safety, quality, and infection control standards

###  **Requirements:**

-   Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
-   **Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required**
-   **Prior Critical Care (Emergency Department) experience required**
-   BLS required
-   Strong clinical judgment, flexibility, and critical-thinking skills
