### **Emergency Veterinarian (ER Veterinarian)**

### **OVERVIEW**

**Location: Saginaw, MI (Highest Priority) | Kalamazoo, MI | Holland, MI**

**Schedule:** 3 x 12-Hour Shifts Per Week

**Compensation: $150,000-$200,000 Base Salary + 401(k) + Relocation Assistance**

**Employment:** Full-Time W2, Direct Hire

**ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY**

Blue United Sourcing is seeking experienced **Emergency Veterinarians** to join growing Emergency Veterinarian Care Centers throughout Michigan. This opportunity is well-suited for experienced veterinarians who thrive in emergency medicine, enjoy managing complex cases, and are dedicated to delivering exceptional care to pets when they need it most.

### **WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**

-   Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating emergency and urgent care cases.
-   Stabilizing and managing critically ill or injured patients.
-   Performing emergency procedures and surgeries as needed.
-   Interpreting diagnostic tests including laboratory work, radiographs, ultrasound findings, and other diagnostic imaging.
-   Developing treatment plans and providing recommendations for ongoing care.
-   Communicating effectively and compassionately with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis.
-   Maintaining accurate and timely medical records.
-   Ensuring compliance with hospital protocols, medical standards, and patient safety procedures.

### **QUALIFICATIONS**

-   Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
-   Active veterinary license (or ability to obtain licensure) in the state of employment.
-   2-3 years of clinical experience preferred, ideally in emergency medicine, urgent care, or a high-volume general practice setting.
-   Strong diagnostic, surgical, and critical thinking skills.
-   Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations.
-   Excellent communication and client service skills.

### Compensation & Benefits

-   Competitive base salary of $150,000-$200,000 annually
