## Description

**About the role** 

We are hiring a sales representative to sell light gauge steel to builders, contractors, and project owners in Southern California. This is a direct sales role. You will find prospects, make first contact, and carry conversations through to a signed order. After the sale, you will remain the customer’s point of contact. 

The work is remote from Mexico. The schedule is fixed to the Southern California business day.

**Responsibilities** 

-   Build and maintain a prospect list of builders, framers, developers, and related buyers in Southern California 

-   Source new leads through research, referrals, and outbound lists 

-   Contact prospects by phone, email, and SMS, using company-approved scripts and lists 

-   Qualify interest, explain the light gauge steel product, and move qualified buyers toward a quote and a contract 

-   Prepare order details and hand off complete information for fulfillment 

-   Provide after-sale customer service, including order status, questions, and issue follow-up 

-   Keep the pipeline current: contact date, next step, and outcome 

-   Report weekly activity and open opportunities

## Requirements

-   Professional English and Spanish, spoken and written 

-   Available 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Pacific, Monday through Friday 

-   Experience in direct sales, inside sales, or business development 

-   Comfort with daily cold calling, cold email, and SMS outreach 

-   Reliable computer, phone, headset, and internet, and a quiet place for customer calls 

-   Ability to track activity in a spreadsheet or CRM
