**About the Role:** We're looking for a highly experienced and strategic **Lead Data Scientist** to lead our growing team. You will be responsible for defining the overall AI strategy for delivering a roadmap, leading the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions, and mentoring a team of talented data scientists. **Responsibilities:**

-   Develop and execute the overall AI strategy for a complete line of business roadmap.
-   Lead a team of data scientists to execute and deliver the roadmap.
-   Oversee the development and implementation of machine learning models for multiple use-cases.
-   Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI innovation.
-   Measure and communicate the value and impact of AI initiatives to the organization.
-   Stay at the forefront of advancements in AI and machine learning, ensuring Banque Misr remains a leader in the field.

## Requirements

**Required Skills:**

-   5+ years of experience in Data Science with 2+ years of leadership experience
-   Extensive experience in developing and implementing of complex AI applications.
-   Proven leadership skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
-   Deep expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data engineering.
-   Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
-   Significant relevant experience in the applied AI in the financial sector or other relevant lines of business.
-   Ability to work effectively in a complex and dynamic environment.

**Desirable Skills:**

·       M.Sc. in related field is a plus.

·       Understands trade-offs between model accuracy, business impact, and deployment speed

-   Experience with MLOps principles and tools.
-   Experience with different data platforms.
