At Boston Speech Therapy, we are seeking a School Nurse for a full-time contract position. The nurse will provide one-to-one nursing care and support to a student who requires feeding tube management and epilepsy-related care during the school day.

### Responsibilities:

-   Provide one-to-one nursing care and medical support to the assigned student.
-   Manage feeding tube feeds and provide appropriate care in accordance with the student’s individualized healthcare plan.
-   Monitor the student for seizure activity and respond appropriately to epilepsy-related medical needs.
-   Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and authorized.
-   Assess and respond to medical emergencies.
-   Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health plans.
-   Maintain accurate and confidential health records.

## Requirements

-   Valid nursing license with current CPR and First Aid certification
-   Prior experience working as a School Nurse or in a similar healthcare setting
-   Knowledge of pediatric health conditions and treatments
-   Ability to assess and respond to medical emergencies
-   Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-   Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-   Attention to detail and organizational skills
