## Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the successful deployment of automation solutions at customer locations. This role involves end-to-end project execution, including system installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and post-deployment support.

You will work closely with customers, internal engineering teams, and support teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The role requires hands-on involvement at customer sites, strong coordination skills, and the ability to manage technical challenges in real-world environments.

**The key responsibilities includes:**  

-   Support installation, commissioning, and activation of automation systems (including AMRs) at customer sites.
-   Perform system validation, safety checks, and functional testing to ensure smooth deployment and optimal system performance.
-   Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AMRs, ROS navigation, PLCs, and associated software systems.
-   Provide hands-on training to customer teams on system operations, maintenance procedures, and basic troubleshooting.
-   Maintain proper documentation of commissioning activities, including deployment details, checklists, SAT reports, and site photographs.
-   Coordinate with internal engineering and remote support teams to ensure smooth project execution and issue resolution.
-   Manage project handover to the support team during the hypercare phase after deployment.
-   Prepare and share weekly project status reports, highlighting progress, challenges, and resolution plans.
-   Conduct quarterly preventive maintenance visits and support replacement of faulty components where required.
-   Identify system improvement opportunities and share feedback with product and engineering teams.
-   Build strong working relationships with customer operations, warehouse, and maintenance teams.
-   Participate in knowledge transfer sessions for product upgrades, new releases, and bug fixes.
-   Proactively identify safety risks at customer sites and escalate them to the team lead for timely resolution.
-   Travel to customer locations across India and occasionally overseas for deployments and support.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related engineering field
-   5-8 years of experience in project execution, commissioning, field engineering, or automation deployments
-   Experience working with robotics, warehouse automation, industrial automation, or AGV/AMR systems is preferred
-   Basic understanding of ROS/ROS2, Linux, PLC systems, industrial networking, or automation control systems
-   Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
-   Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
-   Ability to work in customer-facing environments and manage on-site project execution
-   Willingness to travel frequently to customer locations
