## Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and commercially driven **Sales Director** to lead their sales function and drive sustainable revenue growth. This is a strategic leadership role for a dynamic professional who can build and execute high-impact sales strategies, strengthen key client relationships, and lead a high-performing team in achieving ambitious commercial targets.

The ideal candidate will bring strong international sales leadership experience, a proven track record in revenue generation, and the ability to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities. Previous experience within **fintech, forex, and liquidity** will be considered **highly desirable**.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Develop and execute a clear and effective sales strategy aligned with the company’s commercial objectives and growth plans
-   Lead, mentor, and performance-manage the sales team, fostering a results-driven and high-performing culture
-   Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams across target markets
-   Build, manage, and grow long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
-   Drive sales performance to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets and KPIs
-   Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform strategic decision-making
-   Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior leadership
-   Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and other internal teams to ensure alignment between commercial strategy and business objectives
-   Optimize sales processes, reporting structures, and pipeline management to improve efficiency and results

## Requirements

**Qualifications and Experience:**

-   Bachelor’s degree in **Business, Marketing, or a related field**; an **MBA** will be considered an advantage
-   Minimum of **7 years of international sales experience**, including at least **3 years in a senior leadership role**
-   Proven track record of successfully leading sales teams and consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets
-   Previous experience in **fintech, forex, and/or liquidity services** will be considered **highly desirable**
-   Strong experience in strategic sales planning, business development, and market expansion
-   Solid understanding of sales performance metrics, KPI management, and forecasting

**Skills and Competences:**

-   Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
-   Strong commercial acumen and ability to build high-value client relationships
-   Ability to analyze sales performance and translate insights into actionable strategies
-   Proficiency in **CRM systems** and sales analytics/reporting tools
