## Description

_BRC is seeking a_ _**Technical Content Creator / Product Documentation Specialist**_ _to develop clear, accurate, and visually consistent technical documentation for our products. This role is responsible for producing application guides, installation manuals, price guides, and other technical documentation used by customers, partners, and internal teams._

_Working closely with Engineering, Design, and Product teams, you will translate complex technical information, CAD data, and specifications into easy-to-understand, high-quality documentation. This is_ _**not a marketing role**__—the focus is on technical accuracy, usability, and visual clarity._

_**What you’ll do**_

-   _Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including:_

-   _Application guides_
-   _Installation manuals_
-   _Price guides_
-   _Other product-related technical documents_

-   _Collaborate with Engineering and cross-functional teams to understand product functionality, constraints, and specifications_
-   _Work closely with the Design team to ensure documentation is visually clear, consistent, and aligned with product standards_
-   _Review 3D CAD models and engineering drawings to extract views, dimensions, and technical details for documentation_
-   _Produce and edit diagrams, layouts, and illustrations using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)_
-   _Translate complex technical and CAD-based information into clear, concise, user-friendly instructions_
-   _Ensure accuracy, consistency, and version control across all documentation_
-   _Update documentation to reflect product revisions, engineering changes, configurations, and pricing updates_
-   _Develop and maintain documentation templates, standards, and workflows_
-   _Support internal teams such as Sales, Support, and Operations with accurate technical reference materials_
-   _Create on-demand documentation to support evolving business and operational needs_

_**What you bring**_

-   _Degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field_
-   _5+ years of experience in product design, design engineering, or a manufacturing environment (or equivalent experience)_
-   _Strong project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities_
-   _Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail_
-   _Strong problem-solving and creative thinking abilities_
-   _High proficiency in SolidWorks 3D CAD; experience with SolidWorks PDM is an asset_
-   _Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); SolidWorks PDM experience is an asset_
-   _KeyShot rendering experience is an asset_
-   _Excellent written and verbal communication skills_
-   _Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams_

## Benefits

-   _Hybrid work model; periodic onsite work at company locations (BRC, Tayco, Woodlore) may be required_
-   _Shift Schedule: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday including availability to support on Weekends if required._
-   _Hiring Pay Rate: $55,000 to $65,000 Annually._
-   _Ability to attend and conduct presentations_
-   _Regular use of desktop computers and peripherals_
-   _Overtime as required_
