## Description

Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara, LLP is seeking a talented Legal Secretary to join our award-winning team. As a Legal Secretary, you will have an essential role in supporting our attorneys and clients, and contributing to our continued success.

### **Responsibilities**

-   Prepare, format, and/or process legal documents, such as pleadings, briefs, agreements, correspondence, and forms
-   Maintain attorney calendars, including scheduling appointments and calendaring deadlines
-   Handle correspondence with clients and attorneys
-   File legal documents timely and accurately with California courts using e-filing procedures
-   Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to filing or distribution
-   Assist with miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned

## Requirements

-   Minimum of 2 years of recent secretarial experience required. Insurance Defense, Civil Litigation, or Personal Injury background preferred
-   Knowledge of California court filing/e-filing procedures
-   Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat
-   Sharp attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
