Bright is building a new age Digital Bank powered by Artificial Intelligence. The Founders have deep backgrounds in Consumer Finance, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Advertising and a combined 20 years working at Amazon, Google and McKinsey in the USA, UK and India.
Bright’s initial focus area is the US consumer credit market. After this Bright will expand to other product lines - including A.I. powered savings accounts, checking accounts and insurance products. Bright will also expand to other consumer geographies such as the UK, India and South-East Asia, where the company already has a presence.
US consumers revolve $1tn in credit card debt every year, paying over $200mn in interest and fees. Bright wants to change this and help millions of Americans take control of their money and build a more confident and sustainable financial future starting with credit card debt.
Bright leverages the power of Data science and Artificial Intelligence to make managing money and credit cards easy, and engaging. The Bright platform finds the optimal way to reduce debt, allows users to pay their credit cards in app and in the process, saves users +$1,000 in interest annually. This is delivered in an intuitive package that makes sense for ordinary Americans without the need for detailed understanding of APRs, revolving balances, and tricky credit card fineprint.
Bright is based in San Francisco and Bangalore, with founders coming from McKinsey&Co, Amazon and InMobi. We have raised $10M from investors such as Sequoia, Falcon Edge and notable Angel investors. We are currently building the core leadership team.
