# Procurement Manager > BUPA · Quayside, Hong Kong · Full-time · Posted 2026-06-10 **Workplace:** on_site **Department:** Finance ## Description **Job Purpose** The Procurement Manager supports the procurement team’s promotion from a reactive transactional function to a recognized commercial subject matter expert in managing 3rd party spend. The role will bring fit-for-purpose procurement best practice to the team. The ideal candidate will deliver procurement ROI, source-to-contract efficiency, and expert level of contract terms negotiation. The role will have strong and proven sourcing competence and experience in creating and executing deep dive category plans for non-IT categories including marketing, professional services, and corporates services. The role will earn trust from key business stakeholders and develop a constructive reputation with strategic supply partners to achieve the optimal short and long-term value for Bupa. The role will operate across Hong Kong and potentially to an extended geography as when required. **Responsibilities** • As a role model in the procurement promotion journey • Introduce and implement best practice which is fit-for-purpose for Bupa Hong Kong, includes improving processes, using the right tools, and ensuring ways of working are efficient, compliant, and easy for stakeholders to follow, with guidance from the Head of Procurement • Work with Head of Procurement to design, update, and presentation of procurement performance scorecard • Develop and execute category plans for quick wins and strategic value • Lead and execute eAuctions • Handle end-to-end sourcing activities, including identifying vendors, running tenders, handling commercial negotiations, and contract drafting. • Earn and maintain a strong credibility with business units, engaging, and influencing a range of key business stakeholders to enable delivery of outcomes. • Build strong relationships with external stakeholders and maintain up to date knowledge of relevant markets, services and products, supplier innovations, international movements, competitor activities and industry bodies. • Meet or exceed internal and external stakeholder expectations by understanding needs, delivering sourcing outcomes efficiently, and proactively resolving issues. ## Requirements **Qualifications, Training and Experience** • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, accounting, or supply chain operations, with postgraduate studies desirable. • Evidence in understanding key legal terms in contracts and insurance • Significant business, commercial and financial acumen • Proven data analysis and presentation skills • Comfortable with AI tool and a proven self and quick learner • 10 years of experience in working effectively in multinationals with a matrix style organisation including at global level • A strong understanding of customer experience and customer centricity principles • Proactively takes ownership and acts with integrity to deliver required results. • A passion to deliver extraordinary results within the Bupa Values framework • Well organised, flexible, and adaptable • Objective, analytical, and lateral thinking with a ‘can-do’ attitude. • Contribute to creating a best practice, collegiate working environment within the Procurement team Bupa offers 5 days’ work per week and comprehensive remuneration packages including base salary, study assistance plan, company pension plan, life and medical benefit, dental benefit, annual leave, examination leave, etc. Bupa is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from qualified candidates.
