**Workplace:** on_site

## Description

**Own the network security backbone for a major financial services enterprise.**

What you'll own

·       Day to day operation and support of enterprise Fortinet infrastructure for a high security, financial services environment

·       Building methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades and releases that hold up under audit

·       Testing new features and releases before they touch production

·       Verifying configurations against best practice, not just “it works” but “it's right”

·       Evaluating how third party devices interoperate with Fortinet products

·       Training client staff so they are not dependent on you for everything

·       Being the person who catches issues early and escalates the ones that matter

## Requirements

What we need from you

·       7+ years in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support or administration

·       5+ years with network security products; 2+ years specifically with Fortinet

·       Strong hands on Fortinet firewall expertise

·       Strong knowledge of Fortinet SD-WAN design, with hands on experience configuring SD-WAN in a global architecture

·       ADVPN experience a strong plus

·       2 to 3 Fortinet certifications preferred; certifications aligned to the EPSP track are the best case scenario

·       Solid grounding in switching, routing, load balancing, WiFi, firewalls, IPS, VPN, antivirus, antispam, web filtering and application control

·       Prior experience in a professional services or consulting engineer capacity, a strong plus

·       Comfort working in a regulated, high stakes financial environment where precision matters

·       The judgment to work independently, and the collaboration skills to work well with client stakeholders at every level

·       Excellent troubleshooting instincts and the composure to handle shifting priorities without losing the thread

·       Willingness to travel as needed

·       Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship

Direct hire or contract flexibility, a role with real ownership rather than a support seat, and a placement with a firm that treats financial sector security work as the specialist discipline it is.
