**Roles and Responsibilities:**

As a member of the MCTSSA support team, you will provide advanced technical expertise in the configuration, integration, sustainment, and optimization of mission-enabling systems supporting Marine Corps and joint operational environments. This role directly contributes to resilient command and control capabilities across tactical, garrison, and distributed mission architectures.

-   Support configuration, sustainment, troubleshooting, and optimization of mission-enabling systems
-   Assist with integration and validation of new or updated capabilities in laboratory, exercise, and operational environments
-   Provide technical support during training events, exercises, rehearsals, and field activities, including user guidance and coordination with Government stakeholders
-   Troubleshoot complex technical issues, coordinate escalation when required, and ensure timely, mission-aligned resolution
-   Contribute to interoperability and information exchange across Marine Corps, joint, and partner environments
-   Assist with development of technical documentation, references, and knowledge transfer materials to improve operational continuity and long-term sustainment
-   Design, implement, and sustain secure network and systems architectures supporting tactical, garrison, and distributed environments
-   Engineer and integrate transport, compute, virtualization, and core network services required to enable resilient command and control operations
-   Participate in architecture planning sessions, technical working groups, and integration reviews, providing written technical assessments and interoperability recommendations
-   Support advanced configuration, sustainment, troubleshooting, and optimization of mission systems, applications, data workflows, and tactical or enterprise communications capabilities
-   Assist with integration and validation of new or emerging technologies in laboratory, exercise, or operational environments
-   Provide technical support during training events, evaluations, or mission rehearsals, including coordination with Government personnel
-   Support interoperability, data exchange, and cross-domain information sharing across Marine Corps, joint, or partner environments
-   Produce written procedures, job aids, quick-reference materials, or short instructional videos, when directed, to support knowledge transfer and operational continuity
-   Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, including AI/ML workflows, sensor fusion, UAS/C-UAS capabilities, advanced data exploitation, and multi-domain integration.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements:**

-   Minimum of 5 years’ experience participating in military training or directly supporting military units.
-   Experience with Tactical Mission Networks (TMN’s) architecture encompassing multiple tenants through End User Devices (EUD’s).
-   Demonstrate experience administrating and troubleshooting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments, including system configurations, patching, user management, and basic shell scripting.
-   Awareness of Tactical Data Links (TDL’s) and relevant MIL-STDs.
-   Ability to work signal flow from sensors to networks.
-   Direct participation in real-world operations is desired.
-   Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), VLANs, DNS, and DHCP.
-   Working knowledge of the setup and configuration of core hardware components including routers, switches, and firewalls.
-   Working knowledge of DoW C2 Systems such as TAK, ATAK, MCH, and Maven Smart Systems is preferred, but not required.   
-   Willing to work in a 24x7x365 secured environment, demonstrate intuitive problem-solving skills, and allow for flexible scheduling.
