## Description

Are you looking to join Callsign as a Release Manager with a twist? Callsign are actively recruiting for an Agile Release Manager to join our technology team at our Abu Dhabi office. We're on a journey to make our releases easier, faster, and more frequent — and this role exists to drive that journey, not just manage releases as they are today. It's a great fit for someone who's collaborative, organised, tech-savvy, and enjoys both delivering and teaching. 

This role splits your time between hands-on release management and helping our teams grow stronger at agile practices — because the more our teams internalise agile ways of working, the smoother, faster, and more reliable our releases become. You won't just be running releases; you'll be actively working to improve the process release after release. 

This is a dual-focus role. Half your time will be spent managing release execution on real Intelligence Driven Authentication projects — working with Technology, Customers, Partners and other Callsign teams. The other half will be spent coaching and training our scrum teams on agile ways of working — not as a day-to-day Scrum Master embedded in a single team, but as a trainer who builds agile capability across multiple teams. As that capability grows, releases get easier, faster, and more frequent — and that continuous improvement is the core purpose of this role.

## Requirements

Release Manager (50%) 

-   Work with global cross-functional teams (Sales, Product Management, Engineering and Operations to deliver Callsign solutions to customers 

-   Own the release calendar, go/no-go criteria, and deployment mechanics for products moving into non-production and production environments 

-   Support QA and DevOps functions to help ensure products are developed to a high standard and deployed quickly and securely 

-   Continuously identify friction points in the release process and drive improvements — manual steps to automate, bottlenecks to remove, cadence to tighten 

-   Track release health over time (frequency, lead time, failure rate) to demonstrate ongoing improvement 

-   Develop and maintain effective working relationships across internal Callsign teams 

Agile Trainer (50%) 

-   Design and deliver agile training sessions and workshops across multiple scrum teams 

-   Coach engineers, designers, analysts and product owners on agile principles — with an explicit focus on the habits that make releases smoother (predictable commitments, clear ownership, fewer last-minute surprises) 

-   Help teams build their own agile muscle rather than depending on a single embedded facilitator 

-   Identify gaps in agile maturity across teams and create targeted learning plans, prioritising the gaps that most affect release reliability 

-   Treat each training cycle as an experiment: measure whether it moves the needle on release speed and reliability, and adjust 

**Required Knowledge / Experience** 

-   Recognised Agile trainer-level certification (e.g. ICAgile Certified Professional–Agile Coaching, Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Professional, or equivalent) enabling you to formally teach others, not just facilitate 

-   Excellent communicator, skilled in conflict management, comfortable presenting and training as well as doing hands-on delivery work 

-   Curious, collaborative, empathetic, humble, reflective, energetic, and agile work attitude 

-   Some relevant industry experience in delivery/release coordination and agile ways of working 

-   Experience with or strong working knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices 

-   A continuous-improvement mindset — genuinely motivated by making processes better, not just running them 

-   Comfortable balancing two distinct modes of work: delivering and teaching 

**Nice to Have** 

-   Experience running training sessions, workshops, or onboarding programmers 

-   Experience with release automation or CI/CD pipeline improvements 

-   Understanding of IT security products and how they're applied (identity, authentication, access control, etc.) 

-   Familiarity with service management approaches such as ITIL
