Their paid social strategy leans heavily on **active, engaging video content** across Facebook/Meta, Instagram Reels, and TikTok—blending product features, lifestyle moments with pets, and performance-driven storytelling.

**About the Role**  
We’re seeking a **Video Editor (minimum 5 years of experience)** who can transform raw footage and brand assets into **high-converting, pet-focused video content** tailored for Facebook/Meta, Instagram Reels, and TikTok. The content should bring product functionality and benefits to life in real pet scenarios (durability, comfort, ease of use) while emphasizing **emotion, engagement, and action**.

**Responsibilities**

-   Edit short-form video content (15–60 seconds) for ads and social media platforms.
-   Incorporate product close-ups, usage demonstrations, and shots with pets to evoke emotion and trust.
-   Add motion graphics, transitions, captions, sound effects/music to enhance storytelling and clarity.
-   A/B test different cuts / video versions to improve performance metrics (CTR, engagement, conversions).
-   Optimize video formats for placements (Feed, Stories, Reels, etc.).
-   Collaborate closely with marketing strategists, copywriters, and creative leads to align with campaign goals and messaging.
-   Stay updated on pet/pet-owner content trends, consumer behavior, and social video best practices.

## Requirements

**Ideal Candidate**

-   Portfolio of high-performing video work, especially in pet, animal, or consumer-goods verticals.
-   Strong technical skills: Premiere Pro / Final Cut / After Effects (or equivalent) for video editing and graphics work.
-   Sense of pacing, emotion, and storytelling — knows how to pull in viewers in the first 3 seconds.
-   Comfortable adapting content for different platforms (aspect ratio, sound-on/off, captions).
-   Data-driven mindset: experience using metrics to inform editing decisions.
-   Bonus: experience with UGC-style content (user footage), and/or ability to shoot own footage if needed.
