As an Environmental Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our operations comply with all environmental regulations and standards, and that we maintain a safe and sustainable work environment. Kiewit Mexico provides construction and engineering services in transportation, oil, gas, chemical, power, building, water/wastewater, industrial, and mining industries.

### Responsibilities

-   Develop and coordinate environmental compliance programs for all construction projects
-   Identify and evaluate environmental risks and impacts associated with construction activities
-   Oversee the implementation of environmental policies and procedures, including training and awareness programs
-   Attend meetings with contractors, regulatory agencies and other stakeholders to discuss environmental issues and concerns
-   Conduct environmental audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
-   Provide guidance and support to project teams to ensure that environmental issues are addressed in project planning and execution
-   Develop and maintain environmental reports and records

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field
-   3 to 7 years of experience working in environmental compliance in the construction industry
-   Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards, including air and water quality, waste management, and hazardous materials
-   Experience with environmental management systems (EMS) and permits
-   Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
-   Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
-   Availability to travel to project sites and work flexible hours, if required.
-   Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
