> Castle Trust Bank · Basingstoke, United Kingdom (Hybrid) · Full-time · Posted 2026-11-06

**Workplace:** hybrid

**Department:** Human Resources

## Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a **Talent Acquisition Specialist** to join our Talent Acquisition team at Castle Trust Bank.

It’s an exciting time to join us. We’re entering a new phase of growth and investment, creating a great opportunity to help bring in the people and capabilities that will support our ambitions.

This is much more than vacancy management. You’ll own your hiring portfolio from initial brief through to offer and onboarding, partnering with managers across the Bank and proactively finding great people.

We’re also continuing to evolve how we recruit, with a focus on **direct sourcing, technology and AI, candidate experience, EVP and continuous improvement**. You’ll have the autonomy to bring ideas, try new approaches and help shape how we attract and select talent.

The role is based from our **Basingstoke office**, working as part of our hybrid model, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.

**What you’ll be doing**

You’ll deliver a proactive, high-quality end-to-end recruitment service across your own portfolio of vacancies, including:

- Partnering with hiring managers to understand requirements and develop the right recruitment approach.
- Creating engaging adverts and attraction campaigns.
- Proactively sourcing and engaging talent, strengthening our direct hiring capability and reducing agency reliance.
- Screening candidates and managing interview and assessment processes.
- Delivering a brilliant candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
- Managing offers and supporting a smooth transition through pre-employment screening and onboarding.
- Providing trusted recruitment advice and market insight to hiring managers.
- Keeping our ATS, **Workable**, accurate and up to date and supporting effective recruitment reporting.
- Exploring how **AI, technology and new recruitment tools** can improve our hiring processes.
- Contributing ideas and improvements across Talent Acquisition, while helping strengthen our employer brand.

**What we’re looking for**

We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves recruitment and wants to make a difference. As a minimum, you’ll bring:

- Strong end-to-end Talent Acquisition or in-house recruitment experience.
- Experience managing multiple vacancies and stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to direct sourcing and candidate engagement.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to advise and influence hiring managers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong focus on candidate and hiring-manager experience.
- A diligent, process-orientated approach and confidence using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment technology.
- An interest in how AI and technology can improve recruitment.
- A curious, positive and improvement-focused mindset.
- The ability to work autonomously while being a collaborative member of a small team, adapting to changing priorities and, importantly, getting stuck in.

Experience within financial services or another regulated environment, and previous experience using **Workable**, would be useful but aren’t essential.

**What’s in it for you**

Alongside a competitive salary, dependent on experience, we offer:

- Annual performance-related bonus
- Generous contributory pension scheme through Hargreaves Lansdown
- Life assurance
- 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to buy or sell up to 5 days
- An additional paid volunteering day
- Healthcare benefits through Equipsme
- Access to BHFS Rise EAP
- Free eye-test vouchers
- Discounted gym membership
- Season ticket travel loans, where applicable

If you’re passionate about recruitment, enjoy proactively finding great people and want the autonomy to really own your roles and make an impact, **we’d love to hear from you.**
