Bring your talent, drive, and keen eye for consistency, and let’s create something extraordinary! ## Requirements ### **WHAT YOU’LL DO:** You'll be working at the sharp end of the compositing process - leading the creation of high-quality digital composites from brief to final, across a full range of VFX work. That means advanced 2D/3D tracking, matte extraction, element layering, colour grading, digital matte painting, and roto/paint work, all delivered to a consistently high standard. You'll collaborate closely with the VFX Supervisor and Compositing Lead, contributing to creative and technical decisions on your shots rather than just executing them. Look development, shot aesthetics, visual consistency - you'll have real input into how the work looks and feels. Beyond your own shots, you'll be a resource for the team, mentoring junior artists, contributing to pipeline development, colour management workflows, and process documentation, and helping solve complex challenges before they become problems. ### **WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:** - 5+ years of compositing experience across feature film, television, and/or commercials - Advanced Nuke skills, including Gizmos and Groups workflows, script troubleshooting and optimisation, and LookDev/template setup - A solid grasp of cinematography, photography, and colour science principles - Well-developed artistic sensibilities - you can read a note, interpret the intent, and execute - Basic Python scripting is a bonus - Strong communication skills across all formats - you give clear direction, constructive feedback, and keep people informed - Effective time management and the ability to prioritise under production pressure - Experience supporting and developing junior team members ## Benefits **Why Cause and FX?** We're a studio that actually means it when we talk about culture.
