**OFFERING PAID CREDENTIALS** \- Eliminating upfront costs for clearances & TB screening!

**SUMMARY:**

-   The hourly Paraprofessional pay rate to work on assignment in Lower Dauphin School District ranges between **$20.16 - $22.16 per hour**
-   **10 days Paid Time Off (PTO)** pro-rated based upon start date.
-   The Paraprofessional will work on student days following the academic calendar year
-   Paraprofessionals will support students in one of the following areas: Autistic, Emotional, Instructional, Life Skills, Learning Support and Vocational

**CURRENT NEED:**

-   While there are not current needs in the District, we are still accepting applications for anticipated openings in the upcoming 26/27 school year.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:**

-   Provide assistance to students with special needs who have IEPs or 504 plans.
-   Reinforcing learning concepts and skills.
-   Working with students individually or in small groups.
-   Work with students on organizational skills, guide students in activities, monitor student progress.
-   Managing students behavior and ensuring a safe learning environment.
-   Supervising students during lunch, arrivals/dismissals, and other non-instructional areas.
-   Directly support students at the direction of classroom teacher and building Principal.

## Requirements

**EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:**

-   High school diploma and completion of Paraprofessional competency training OR
-   Two-years of post secondary education (48 college credits), Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree
-   Prior public-school experience and/or working with school-aged children in a licensed, certified, or registered provider setting - preferred

**CREDENTIALING :**

**\*CCRES paid clearances and TB**

_(Clearances current within 12 months)_

-   PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
-   PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
-   PA Department of Education FBI
-   TB Screening - current within 3 months
-   Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
