## Description

A housing finance company is hiring a hands-on engineering leader to own its roadmap, production systems and early technical team.

You will set engineering priorities; own customer-facing products and internal systems; write and review code; make architecture, cloud and vendor decisions; and put testing, deployment, monitoring, backups and access controls in place. You will prevent production incidents, lead recovery when something breaks, and hire and guide the early engineering team as the organisation grows.

This is a confidential search. The client name will be shared at the appropriate stage.

## Requirements

We are looking for 3 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience and clear evidence of owning real production systems. You should be strong in backend engineering across APIs, databases and cloud infrastructure, with enough frontend breadth to ship complete products.

You should be able to make practical decisions across system design, security, reliability, cost and speed; communicate clearly with business and technical stakeholders; and carry delivery through to production without waiting for a large team around you.

Experience in lending, housing finance, fintech, regulated industries or leading an early engineering team is useful, but not required.

## Benefits

Annual compensation is ₹16 to ₹20 lakh. Immediate availability is preferred. This is an on-site role in Mumbai.
