We’re looking for an experienced **System Test Analyst** to join a large-scale digital transformation program. This is a contract opportunity through to **12 February 2027**, based **on-site in Darwin, NT**. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability and readiness of digital platforms through a combination of automated and manual testing.

## Requirements

### What You’ll Do

-   Design, develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts and frameworks.
-   Develop and execute manual test cases across functional, integration, system, regression and release testing.
-   Determine when automation, manual testing or a combination of both is most appropriate.
-   Perform API, end-to-end, exploratory, defect retesting and production verification testing.
-   Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
-   Analyse requirements to define test coverage and identify automation opportunities.
-   Manage test data, evidence, traceability and defect reporting.
-   Identify, track and support the resolution of defects, including triage and retesting.
-   Produce test artefacts, reports and quality metrics.
-   Collaborate with developers, business analysts, solution architects and stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes.

### What You’ll Bring

-   Tertiary qualification in **Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering** or a related discipline.
-   **ISTQB Foundation Level** or equivalent certification.
-   Strong experience as an Automation and Test Analyst within large and complex ICT programs.
-   Hands-on experience across both automated and manual testing.
-   Experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
-   Strong experience with functional, integration, system, regression and release testing.
-   Experience with **API testing tools** such as Postman, REST Assured or SoapUI, as well as SQL for data validation.
-   Experience integrating automated testing into **CI/CD pipelines** using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins or similar.
-   Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC and software testing methodologies.
-   Experience with test and defect management tools such as **Jira or Azure DevOps Test Plans**.
-   Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
