We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Manager with strong Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience to lead key accounting and financial operations. This role blends technical accounting expertise with forward-looking financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep experience in cost accounting and operational finance and the ability to effectively communicate in both Korean and English.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting

\- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

\- Manage general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and journal entries

\- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies

\- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors

\- Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting procedures

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

\- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes

\- Analyze financial performance, including variance analysis (budget vs. actuals) and key cost drivers

\- Develop and maintain financial models to support operational and strategic initiatives

\- Partner with operations and plant leadership to drive cost efficiencies and profitability

\- Prepare executive-level reporting packages, dashboards, and KPI analysis

Manufacturing & Cost Accounting

\- Oversee cost accounting functions including standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis

\- Analyze production costs, labor efficiency, material usage, and overhead allocation

\- Monitor inventory controls, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes

\- Partner with procurement and operations teams to manage raw material costs and margins

\- Support continuous improvement initiatives with data-driven financial insights

Leadership & Process Improvement

\- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a high-performance team environment

\- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability

\- Support ERP system enhancements and financial reporting tools optimization

\- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and senior leadership

## Requirements

\- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

\- Minimum 7+ years of progressive accounting experience within a manufacturing environment (required)

\- Demonstrated experience in cost accounting and operational finance

\- Strong FP&A experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling

\- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements

\- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills

\- Experience with QuickBooks (preferred)

\- Bilingual in Korean and English (required)
