# Freelance Social Media Strategist

## Description

We're looking for a creative, autonomous freelancer to take ownership of our social channels and bring our brand to life in  communities  across sports, entertainment, and cryptocurrency.

**About the Role**

This is a fully remote freelance engagement requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. You'll be a dedicated, embedded part of the team just with the flexibility of a freelance arrangement.

**What You'll Be Doing**

-   Manage our content calendar and post daily across platforms, keeping our brand voice consistent and engaging.
-   Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions on Twitter, Telegram, Reddit, and more - crafting replies that reflect our culture.
-   Brief designers and bring creative concepts to life across posts, infographics, and short videos.
-   Collaborate with the Community Manager to develop strategies around partnerships, campaigns, and community contests.
-   React quickly to real-time opportunities - whether that's amplifying a streamer's live content or jumping on a trending moment.
-   Drive community engagement and nurture our growing audience across all channels.
-   Track analytics and share performance insights to continuously improve our social strategy.

**What You'll Need**

-   Creativity and Drive: A passion for innovation and a proactive, autonomous approach to social media.
-   Exceptional Writing Skills: A knack for writing engaging, on-brand content for posts, ads, and captions.
-   Empathy and Connection: The ability to write conversationally and foster a sense of community.
-   Social Media Savvy: Experience managing platforms like Twitter, Discord, and Telegram.
-   AI-Fluency: Comfortable using AI tools to work smarter and move faster.
-   Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Tweethunter.
-   Analytical Thinking: Understanding of social media metrics and ability to provide actionable insights.
-   Flexibility: Availability to address community needs, including occasional evening or weekend engagement.

**Bonus Points If You Have**

-   Image editing skills using Figma, Adobe Suite, or Canva.
-   Knowledge of SEO and keyword optimisation for social media.
-   Experience in PR or crisis management.
