We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based on **San Pedro Sula, Honduras.**

Your primary role will be to coordinate and optimize delivery schedules by communicating with mobile units to ensure they receive any important messages. Monitor situations by phone or radio, use mapping software to locate the best routes, and keep track of the locations of mobile units.

**\*\*\*Shift Availability\*\*\***

1\. Evening shift: Friday to Monday from 2:00 pm to 12:00 am (Tuesday to Thursday off)

2\. Morning shift: Friday to Monday from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm (Tuesday to Thursday off)

**Responsibilities:**

-   Assist in dispatch pending loads, schedule, and dispatch drivers to pick up and deliver.
-   Schedule and dispatch drivers to pick up and deliver loads to and from customers.
-   Coordinate and modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers.
-   Manage daily routes according to the needs of customers and communicate specific freight requirements and procedures to drivers.
-   Monitor any sudden route changes or road construction issues and establish new routes for timely deliveries.
-   Actively participate in problem resolution with the team members and different departments.
-   Assist driver with routing directions and communicate proper execution.
-   Maintain high compliance to dispatch standards and operating procedures.
-   Update customer web portals with up-to-date load information.
-   Pull loads forecast from system, update drop and hooks events.
-   Enforce safety procedures such as monitoring driver reports to ensure equipment safety.
-   Analyze transportation planning opportunities to reduce transportation cost.
-   Ensure proper placement of trailer pool to support customer’s daily requirement while maintaining cost.

## Requirements

-   College diploma or university degree.
-   Previous logistics and customer service experience is an asset.
-   +2 years of experience in customer service roles.
-   Ability to solve problems and alleviate conflicts or escalate tactfully.
-   Strong time-management with an ability to prioritize and multi-task.
-   Proficient in Microsoft office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
-   Fluency in English and Spanish is a must.
