**DOCK DEPARTMENT TECH**

**JOB PURPOSE**

Assist In Dock Operations To Meet Peak Efficiency

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

1.  Accounting for Inbound Rental Equipment
2.  Accounting for Outbound Rental Equipment
3.  Shipping and Receiving
4.  Maintaining Work Area
5.  Miscellaneous Help

**1\. ACCOUNTING FOR OUTBOUND RENTAL EQUIPMENT**

-   Confirm all rental product is checked out before beginning to load outbound vehicle
-   Ensuring dock confirmation is performed on all outbound orders
-   Completing all required NEXUS documentation –done shipped etcetera

**2\. ACCOUNTING FOR INBOUND RENTAL EQUIPMENT**

-   Scanning in every case as it is of loaded
-   Scanning returned rental equipment into NEXUS
-   Counting and entering "non-barcoded" quantities into NEXUS

**3\. SHIPPING AND RECEIVING**

-   Counting all inbound SUB-rental equipment
-   Counting all inbound new rental equipment
-   Informs DH or do they do the Data entry?
-   Loading and unloading trucks
-   Directing temporary labor

**4\. MAINTAINING WORK AREA**

-   Ensure all tools, machinery and supplies are returned to proper storage at the end of shift
-   Ensure rental product is stored in approved ORPL manor
-   Clean and sanitize work station daily and common areas as assigned. Remove recycling and waste to appropriate disposal area

**5\. MISCELLANEOUS HELP**

-   Assisting in all other departments as directed by supervisor
-   Assisting with warehouse projects directed by supervisor
-   In this position have the opportunity to join the Joint Health and Safety Committee
