We are looking for a driven, service-oriented professional to join us as CLM Specialist (Contract Lifecycle Management) someone who thrives in complex environments, is comfortable working across multiple entities, and takes genuine pride in making operations run smoothly.

The CLM Specialist will serve as the internal subject-matter expert for CIMMYT's Contract Lifecycle Management platform (ICERTIS), responsible for its day-to-day administration, optimization, and user enablement under the supervision of the Legal Operations Manager. and in coordination with the Legal Department, IT/ERP teams, and the ICERTIS vendor team. This is not a new implementation role; the focus is on sustaining, optimizing, and evolving an already deployed instance to support the Legal Department's global operating model.

The role will be based in New Delhi, India.

## Requirements

**Specific duties include:**

-   Administer the ICERTIS platform on a day-to-day basis, including user roles, permissions, entity structures, and access provisioning, in line with confidentiality and need-to-know protocols.
-   Provide second- and third-level support for CLM-related incidents and service requests, coordinating intake and tracking through the Legal Department's ticketing system, and escalating to ICERTIS vendor support where required.
-   Monitor system performance, availability, and health, and maintain configuration documentation, change logs, and administrator records.
-   Review and refine contract templates, clause libraries, playbooks, and approval workflows in coordination with the Legal Department.
-   Upload, configure, and maintain the Legal Department's approved contract templates and clause libraries in the platform, converting them into automated, rules-based formats with dynamic fields, conditional logic, and self-service generation where appropriate.
-   Build, configure, test, and deploy contract workflows in the platform end-to-end, including intake, review, approval, escalation, signature routing through Adobe Sign, and post-execution obligation stages in line with the Legal Department's processes and delegation of authority.
-   Keep templates, clause libraries, and workflows current, uploading new or revised versions promptly upon approval by the Legal Department and retiring superseded ones.
-   Analyze usage patterns and user feedback to identify friction points, and implement approved configuration changes (workflow rules, business rules, reports, and dashboards) within platform capabilities.
-   Support periodic platform releases and upgrades, including impact assessment, regression testing, and user communication.
-   Configure and maintain grant and subgrant contracting workflows, templates, and metadata structures, reflecting donor terms and flow-down requirements.
-   Support the structuring of obligation tracking, milestone monitoring, and reporting for donor-funded agreements.
-   Maintain the accuracy and integrity of contract metadata and the repository structure.
-   Build and maintain reports and dashboards for contract KPIs, including cycle time, aging, renewals, obligations, and compliance indicators, aligned with the Legal Department's performance framework.
-   Support internal and external audits and compliance reviews with accurate and timely data extraction from the system.
-   Monitor and support integrations between ICERTIS and adjacent systems, including Dynamics 365, Adobe Sign, and document management tools, coordinating with IT, ERP, and vendor teams to diagnose and resolve integration failures.
-   Act as the first point of contact for business users Legal, Procurement, Finance, Resource Mobilization, and program units on CLM-related questions.
-   Develop and deliver training materials, user guides, and onboarding sessions, and drive platform adoption across business units and regional offices.
-   Gather requirements from internal stakeholders and translate them into structured enhancement requests for prioritization by the Legal Department.
-   Enforce configuration and change-management standards, and manage the relationship with the ICERTIS support and account team, including tickets, upgrades, licensing considerations, and roadmap alignment.
-   Perform other related tasks within the job level as may be requested by the immediate supervisor.

**Required academic qualifications, skills, and attitudes:**

-   Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Law, or a related field.
-   Minimum of 3 years of experience (3–5 years preferred) administering or supporting a Contract Lifecycle Management platform in a company, law firm, or international organization; hands-on ICERTIS experience strongly preferred, and relevant CLM certification (e.g., Icertis Certified Administrator or Configurator) an advantage.
-   Demonstrated experience with contract workflows, clause libraries, and template configuration.
-   Familiarity with system integrations (API-based or middleware) and basic troubleshooting.
-   Understanding of contract lifecycle processes in an institutional setting, including procurement, grants, subgrants, legal review, and obligations management.
-   Strong analytical skills and proficiency with reporting and dashboard tools; Power BI or equivalent an advantage.
-   Full professional proficiency in English (minimum C1 CEFR; test administered); working proficiency in Spanish an advantage.
-   Proficient computer skills (at a minimum Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat); familiarity with ticketing tools, electronic signature platforms, and D365 highly desirable.
-   Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal clients across Legal, Procurement, Finance, and IT.
-   Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline, judgment, discretion, confidentiality, and ability to work with sensitive institutional information.
-   Demonstrated ability to manage multiple support requests and priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, follow up proactively, and work with a sense of urgency and accountability.
-   Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, multidisciplinary, and international environment, coordinating with regional and HQ teams.
