## Description

The purpose of this role is to lead or support delivery across a range of customer engagements, acting as a subject matter expert in programme delivery.

### Principal responsibilities

Managing Delivery of Client Requirements and managing our delivery team. Responsible for being a trusted and credible advisor to our clients:

-   Support the planning and mobilisation of programme work as defined in the SOW
-   Conduct diagnostic/ discovery work and prepare recommendations and delivery plans for the customer
-   Contribute to key programme meetings including kick off meetings and Programme Board
-   Liaise with senior members of the client stakeholder group at key milestones such as Programme Board
-   Support delivery teams and provide guidance to consultants as required
-   Identify potential follow-on opportunities and escalate through Delivery Lead or Principal Consultants

### Operations & Governance

-   Responsible for leading customer engagements and ensuring it is delivered within the agreed internal resourcing model
-   Responsible for reporting the financial position, ensuring data in Kantata is up to date and that the project is delivered within the agreed project margin
-   Responsible for working with Lead PCs on resourcing requirements to enable successful delivery of the programme
-   Contribute to Civiteq strategic objectives as required
-   Act as an internal role model, a champion for our ways of working and an example in adherence to our internal policies

### Relationships

Responsible for developing and maintaining proactive, effective relationships with customers, partners and vendors, creating commercially beneficial opportunities for the business.

Work closely with Lead PCs and Directors to develop the toolkits, methodologies, case studies, thought-leadership and collateral that will differentiate our organisation.

Provide skills transfer and formal training in specialist areas.

### Key stakeholders

You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with senior individuals from the client – including programme directors and SROs where appropriate. You will maintain and manage relationships with any partners we work with and/or other suppliers on the programmes.

## Requirements

### Consulting Skills

-   Ability to create, manage, and deliver strategies for complex engagements.
-   Exhibit strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities and be comfortable in customer-facing scenarios.
-   Ability to lead a team, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across workstreams.
-   Clear, articulate communicator with the ability to demonstrate knowledge and credibility at senior levels, including presenting to senior client stakeholders and Programme Boards.

### Experience

-   At least 3 years of experience in the design and delivery of strategic projects or programmes in complex digital transformation environments.
-   Experience leading full end-to-end programmes or owning major workstreams.
-   Experience managing multi-stakeholder transformation delivery in consulting environments.
-   Proven ability to take a leading role in key solutions presentations and handle objections from clients.
-   Experience building and managing relationships with customers, partners, and vendors.

### Programme Management Focus

Our programme management methodology requires experience contributing to delivery across five key stages within complex digital transformation environments. This includes enterprise-wide digital, data and technology programmes operating within multi-programme or portfolio-led structures.

We would expect candidates to demonstrate strong experience in either Waterfall or Agile delivery, alongside a working knowledge of both, particularly within cloud, SaaS, and data-led transformation programmes.

### Project Initiation

-   Defining programme or project objectives aligned to wider organisational outcomes.
-   Establishing clear scope, vision, and success criteria for digital or technology-enabled change.
-   Identifying stakeholders across complex, often federated environments.
-   Contributing to the development of business cases, including benefits realisation, financial constraints, and strategic alignment.

### Project Planning

-   Supporting the development of delivery plans across multi-workstream programmes, including dependencies across technology, data, and service design.
-   Planning delivery approaches within Agile or Waterfall environments, including backlog creation, milestones, and delivery roadmaps.
-   Embedding governance structures aligned to PMO or portfolio-led delivery models.

### Project Execution

-   Supporting delivery of workstreams within large-scale digital transformation programmes.
-   Coordinating activities across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring alignment between technology, data, and business change.
-   Managing stakeholder engagement and supporting adoption through iterative feedback and continuous improvement.

### Project Monitoring and Controlling

-   Tracking programme performance using agreed KPIs, benefits measures, and reporting frameworks.
-   Supporting governance processes including Programme Boards, PMO reporting, and risk management forums.
-   Managing changes to scope, priorities, and dependencies within complex environments.
-   Identifying, logging, and supporting mitigation of risks and issues.

### Project Closure

-   Supporting the completion and sign-off of deliverables, ensuring alignment to programme objectives and quality standards.
-   Contributing to benefits realisation tracking and evaluation of programme outcomes.
-   Ensuring appropriate documentation and knowledge transfer.
-   Facilitating lessons learned and contributing to continuous improvement of delivery methodologies.
