### Overview

MasTec Communications Group is looking for a skilled and motivated Aerial Foreman to join our growing telecommunications construction team in Temple, Texas. This role is ideal for experienced telecom professionals who enjoy hands-on leadership, working outdoors, and leading crews through fast-paced infrastructure projects.

As an Aerial Foreman, you will oversee aerial telecom construction projects while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met. You’ll work closely with crews, supervisors, and project managers to support the successful installation and maintenance of CATV, coaxial, and fiber optic infrastructure.

### Responsibilities

-   Install and repair aerial CATV, coaxial, and fiber optic cable
-   Place, relocate, and remove poles, lines, drop wire, and block wire
-   Lead and direct daily activities of aerial construction crews
-   Ensure all work is completed according to approved project specifications
-   Set up and maintain job site safety per OSHA standards
-   Coordinate with Area Supervisors and Managers regarding project progress
-   Maintain crew documentation, time records, and productivity tracking
-   Oversee daily schedules and delivery coordination
-   Mentor and support team members on-site
-   Operate and supervise use of bucket trucks, diggers, and derrick trucks

## Requirements

### Must Have Qualifications

-   3+ years of telecommunications construction experience
-   Previous leadership or crew lead experience
-   Knowledge of aerial and underground telecom construction
-   Experience with CATV, coaxial, and fiber systems
-   Comfortable working in bucket trucks and climbing poles
-   Strong understanding of OSHA safety requirements
-   Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
-   Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
-   Ability to climb and work up to 35 feet
-   Ability to read work orders and cable prints
-   Availability for on-call work, evenings, and weekends as needed
-   Strong communication and leadership skills

### Nice to Have Qualifications

-   OSHA 10 Certification
-   CPR Certification
-   Flagging Certification
-   Experience operating digger and derrick trucks
-   Experience with fiber splicing, coax splicing, or directional drilling
-   Military experience related to telecom/construction fields
