**Pay Rate:** $40.00 per hour

### Overview

Honey Homes is seeking an experienced Skilled Handyman to join our growing team on the Peninsula. This is an opportunity to earn a competitive wage, enjoy a predictable Monday–Friday schedule, and build lasting relationships with homeowners without the uncertainty of traditional handyman work.

As a Honey Homes Handyman, you'll manage a dedicated territory of 40–50 residential homes, becoming the trusted maintenance professional for each homeowner. There is no client hunting, no weekend work, no on-call shifts, and no unpredictable schedules—just steady, rewarding work backed by a supportive team.

### Responsibilities

-   Manage a dedicated route of 40–50 residential homes throughout the Peninsula.
-   Serve as the primary maintenance professional for assigned homeowners.
-   Perform a variety of residential repairs and maintenance tasks, including:

-   Carpentry (doors, trim, framing, repairs)
-   Drywall patching and repair
-   Interior and exterior painting
-   Plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, minor pipe repairs)
-   Electrical work (fixtures, outlets, minor wiring tasks)
-   Smart home device installation and setup

-   Diagnose and troubleshoot household maintenance issues independently.
-   Build strong, long-term relationships with homeowners through exceptional customer service.
-   Maintain accurate job records using the Honey Homes mobile app.
-   Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.

## Requirements

### Must Have

-   5+ years of handyman, maintenance technician, or multi-trade experience.
-   Strong hands-on skills across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and drywall.
-   Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
-   Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
-   Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills.
-   Reliable vehicle.
-   Valid driver's license.
-   Own set of professional tools.
-   Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
-   Comfortable working on ladders and scaffolding up to 12 feet high.

### Nice to Have

-   Previous experience as a maintenance technician.
-   Carpentry background.
-   Plumbing experience.
-   Electrical experience.
-   Experience installing and configuring smart home devices.
