### About the Opportunity

AdeptHR is hiring a **Wire Harness Assembler** for a growing manufacturer of advanced Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) in Monrovia, CA.

This is a hands-on production position focused on building and assembling the wiring and cabling used in UPS systems. You'll work from engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and visual references to produce high-quality wire harnesses and perform light soldering work.

This is a **temp-to-hire opportunity** with the potential to transition to a permanent position after approximately six months of consistent performance.

### What You'll Do

-   Build wire harnesses and cabling according to engineering drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
-   Measure and cut wire to required specifications.
-   Crimp connectors and terminals onto wires.
-   Perform light soldering of wire harnesses to PCB boards and other connectors.
-   Inspect and verify incoming materials before assembly.
-   Inspect completed cables and harnesses for accuracy and quality.
-   Identify acceptable versus poor-quality crimps.
-   Use crimping tools, soldering tools, drills, and other hand and power tools.
-   Follow written, verbal, pictorial, and engineering drawing instructions.
-   Plan assembly work and maintain close attention to detail.
-   Follow established production and workmanship standards.
-   Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

## Requirements

### What We're Looking For

-   **At least 1 year of related wire harness, cable assembly, or electro-mechanical assembly experience.**
-   High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
-   Ability to read and understand **engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).**
-   Experience cutting wire and crimping connectors.
-   Ability to recognize **good versus poor-quality crimps.**
-   Experience with basic soldering is strongly preferred.
-   Familiarity with different types of hardware and electrical components.
-   Experience using hand tools, power tools, and crimpers.
-   Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
-   Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
