We’re currently looking for a dependable, hands-on **Day Porter / Handyman** to support the daily upkeep of commercial properties. This role combines routine cleaning/portering with light maintenance and repair work—ideal for someone who enjoys staying active and solving problems on the go.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Daily portering duties including trash removal, cleaning common areas, and general upkeep
-   Light maintenance tasks such as replacing bulbs, ceiling tiles, and minor repairs
-   Basic plumbing fixes (clogs, minor leaks, fixture swaps)
-   Assisting with light electrical tasks (low-voltage, simple wiring support)
-   Groundskeeping including walkway clearing, debris removal, and seasonal upkeep
-   Snow removal and salting during winter months
-   Performing routine property checks and reporting maintenance needs
-   Completing work orders accurately and on time
-   Communicating with supervisors, tenants, and vendors as needed

### **Schedule**

-   Part-time, Monday–Friday
-   20 hours per week (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM)

### **Location**

-   Downtown Syracuse

### **Pay**

-   $24 per hour

## Requirements

-   General handyman experience (carpentry, drywall, minor repairs)
-   Painting, patching, and basic finish work
-   Experience with small equipment (lawn mowers, snow blowers, etc.)
-   Ability to troubleshoot and complete tasks independently
-   Strong attention to detail and time management
-   Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working with minimal supervision
