# Clearmatics Careers

> <p><strong>Focused on Blockchain Innovation</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>At Clearmatics, we are tackling the hard problems in the Blockchain space.</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Clearmatics is an established blockchain R&amp;D company in London, UK. We have good ties to the Open Source / Ethereum community, we work closely with the Ethereum Foundation, and the company is an EEA Member. Our stack is Ethereum-like so familiarity and passion with the space is key. Our growing Engineering team includes people with experience from The Ethereum Foundation, Skype, Online Gaming and Aerospace &amp; Defence. We are active members of the Ethereum ecosystem.</p><p>The team is working in an area of rapid innovation and has a strong Open Source ethos. We have implemented a thoroughly researched privacy solution involving Stealth Addresses and Ring Signatures and are currently working on how to interoperate Ethereum based chains without an intermediary.</p><p><br></p><p>Other areas of current research include zkSNARKs, multiparty computation, private transactions/assets, protocol design (e.g. proof relays/pegs), formally verified smart contracts, and type-safe and performant distributed virtual machine architectures.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Things we value</strong></p><p></p><ul>

</ul><p>Ion is an interoperability framework designed to facilitate interaction between different systems and blockchains providing an expanding library for the development of cross-system use cases. The gory details are available in <a href="https://workable.com/nr?l=https%3A%2F%2Feprint.iacr.org%2F2017%2F881.pdf" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external">the White Paper</a>.</p><p><br></p><p>We use Kubernetes and Amazon Web Services to deploy blockchain networks.</p><p><br></p><p>Our technology stack has the potential to seriously disrupt Financial Markets and we are just getting started.</p><p><br></p>
