**About the Role**

As a **Quality Inspector**, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our transformers and components meet the highest quality standards before they leave our facility. **What You'll Do**

-   Inspect finished transformer components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
-   Perform inspections on incoming materials according to military and company standards.
-   Support quality operations by inspecting finished components prior to testing.
-   Use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.
-   Examine surface finishes and coatings for defects, imperfections, or irregularities.
-   Identify, document, and communicate quality concerns and non-conformities.
-   Work closely with production and quality teams to maintain product excellence.
-   Assist in troubleshooting and resolving quality-related issues.
-   Follow established inspection procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and customer satisfaction.

## Requirements

**What We're Looking For**

-   High school diploma or GED required.
-   Previous quality control, inspection, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
-   Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
-   Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
-   Experience using measuring tools and inspection equipment is a plus.
-   Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
-   Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

**Physical Requirements**

-   Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
-   Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, climb, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
-   Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and elevated noise levels.
-   Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety-toe footwear, eye protection, hearing protection, and gloves.
-   Strong visual acuity, depth perception, and manual dexterity.

**Working Conditions:**

-   Manufacturing plant environment with frequent exposure to production equipment and industrial noise.
-   Required use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
-   Overtime may be required based on business needs.
-   Shift schedules are subject to change based on operational requirements.
