**Part-Time Medical Director / Addiction Psychiatrist Opportunity**

**Location:** Monroeville, PA

We are seeking an experienced **Addiction Psychiatrist** to serve as a **Part-Time Medical Director** for a comprehensive behavioral health and substance use treatment program in **Monroeville, Pennsylvania**.

This is a **one-day-per-week, on-site opportunity** combining direct patient care with clinical leadership and supervision of Nurse Practitioners. The program provides a continuum of substance use treatment services, including **detoxification, residential treatment, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services**.

The facility has a capacity of approximately **104 beds** and is currently operating at approximately half capacity.

Responsibilities

-   Provide on-site psychiatric care **one day per week**
-   Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with substance use and co-occurring psychiatric disorders
-   Provide clinical leadership and serve in a **Medical Director** capacity
-   Supervise and provide clinical oversight to Nurse Practitioners
-   Review and oversee patient treatment plans as appropriate
-   Manage psychiatric medications and monitor patient response to treatment
-   Collaborate with physicians, Nurse Practitioners, nurses, therapists, counselors, and other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team
-   Support continuity of care across detoxification, residential, PHP, and IOP levels of treatment
-   Participate in clinical, quality, and compliance initiatives
-   Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
-   Help ensure care is delivered in accordance with applicable clinical and regulatory standards

## Requirements

-   MD or DO
-   Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
-   Fellowship training and/or demonstrated experience in **Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine**
-   Board certification in Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine preferred
-   Eligible for a **Pennsylvania medical license**
-   Experience treating substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions
-   Experience supervising Nurse Practitioners or other advanced practice providers preferred
-   Medical Director or physician leadership experience preferred
-   Strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills
