**Medical Director / Inpatient Psychiatrist Opportunity**

**Location:** Biloxi, MS

We are seeking an experienced **Psychiatrist** to serve as **Medical Director** for an established inpatient behavioral health program in **Biloxi, Mississippi**.

This opportunity is based within a **55-bed psychiatric hospital** providing inpatient behavioral health services across a broad patient population, from **adolescents through geriatric adults**. The Medical Director will combine direct patient care with clinical leadership and oversight of the psychiatric program.

Responsibilities

-   Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with psychiatric and behavioral health conditions
-   Provide inpatient psychiatric care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
-   Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing patient assessments
-   Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
-   Manage psychiatric medications and monitor patient response to treatment
-   Provide clinical leadership and medical oversight for the psychiatric program
-   Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, therapists, social workers, and other behavioral health professionals
-   Provide clinical guidance and oversight to members of the treatment team
-   Participate in treatment planning and discharge planning
-   Support development and implementation of clinical policies and standards
-   Participate in quality improvement, compliance, and performance initiatives

## Requirements

-   MD or DO
