**Internal Medicine Physician – Outpatient Primary Care**

### Position Summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a **Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician** to provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to adult patients. This role focuses on preventive care, diagnosis and management of acute and chronic medical conditions, and long-term continuity of care within an ambulatory practice setting.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Provide outpatient primary care services to adult and geriatric patients
-   Perform comprehensive histories, physical examinations, and routine health assessments
-   Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions
-   Deliver preventive care services including screenings, immunizations, and wellness visits
-   Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
-   Order, interpret, and document laboratory and diagnostic test results
-   Manage medication regimens and chronic disease follow-up
-   Perform office-based procedures within scope of practice
-   Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and ancillary services
-   Educate patients on disease prevention, lifestyle modification, and self-management strategies
-   Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
-   Participate in quality improvement, population health, and patient safety initiatives

### Practice Setting

-   Outpatient internal medicine or primary care clinic
-   Minimal or no inpatient responsibilities depending on organizational structure

### Qualifications
