## Description

### Position Summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a **Board Certified/Board Eligible Dermatologist** to provide comprehensive care for patients with conditions affecting the skin, hair, nails, and mucous membranes. This role includes diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic dermatologic conditions; providing preventive skin care; and performing procedural dermatology within a patient-centered, evidence-based practice.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of dermatologic conditions
-   Provide medical dermatology care for acute and chronic skin diseases
-   Perform dermatologic procedures including biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and electrosurgery
-   Diagnose and manage skin cancers and precancerous lesions
-   Interpret pathology results and develop appropriate treatment plans
-   Provide patient education on skin health, disease prevention, and sun protection
-   Manage chronic dermatologic conditions through longitudinal care
-   Collaborate with primary care providers and specialty teams as needed
-   Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
-   Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical education initiatives

### Practice Setting

-   Outpatient dermatology clinic
-   Hospital consult responsibilities may be included depending on organizational needs
-   Scope may include medical, surgical, and/or cosmetic dermatology based on provider training and privileges

### Patient Population

-   Pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
-   Broad range of dermatologic conditions

## Requirements

### Qualifications

-   MD or DO from an accredited medical school
-   Completion of an accredited Dermatology residency program
-   Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology
-   Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the practicing state
-   DEA registration or eligibility
