In this role, you will help shape how Connected Kerb presents its value to customers and partners through high-quality bid and proposal content. You will play an important part in turning complex commercial, technical, and operational information into clear, persuasive submissions that support growth and strengthen the company’s position in a competitive market.

### Responsibilities

-   Proposal Development: Develop high-quality, persuasive, and compliant bid proposals in response to tender invitations, requests for proposals (RFPs), and other business opportunities. This includes conducting thorough research, understanding client requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information.
-   Content Creation: Write and edit proposal content, ensuring clarity, coherence, and consistency in messaging. Articulate the value proposition, key differentiators, and benefits of our organization's products/services, aligning them with the needs and priorities of the target audience.
-   Research and Analysis: Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to gain a deep understanding of industry trends, client expectations, and market demands. Use this information to tailor bid proposals and enhance our competitive advantage.
-   Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that bid proposals comply with all requirements, guidelines, and specifications set forth by clients, funding bodies, and regulatory authorities. Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather technical data, certifications, references, and other supporting documents needed for the proposal.
-   Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, project managers, subject matter experts, and finance departments, to gather information, review proposal drafts, and obtain necessary approvals. Collaborate to develop accurate pricing, project plans, and implementation strategies.
-   Proposal Strategy: Contribute to the development of bid strategies, win themes, and value propositions. Identify and highlight the unique selling points and differentiators of our organization's offerings to increase the likelihood of success in competitive bidding situations.
-   Quality Assurance: Review and proofread bid proposals to ensure accuracy, coherence, and compliance with formatting guidelines. Edit and refine content for grammar, style, and clarity, paying attention to details and maintaining a professional tone.
-   Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends, bid writing best practices, and evolving requirements. Seek opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the bid writing process, including the development of templates, tools, and standardised content.

## Requirements

**Key competencies/behaviours:**

-   Proven experience of bespoke writing for Public Sector and Private Sector bids achieving consistently high scores.
-   Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
-   Possessing strong time management / prioritisation skills. Super organised and great at managing multiple bids simultaneously.
-   Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
-   Able to quickly develop effective relationships at all levels and build confidence and trust with senior management.

-   Excellent written and verbal communication skills. We're talking about the kind that can explain complex ideas in a concise and persuasive way.
-   You've got a knack for research and analysis, making it easy to gather, interpret, and present relevant data and information.
-   Attention to detail is your middle name, and you thrive under tight deadlines.
-   Proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant software applications.
