**POSITION:** Lead Guard

**LOCATION:** USAG Camp Humphreys, Pyeongtaek, South Korea

**CLEARANCE:** Secret

The Lead Guard provides direct, on-site supervision of ESS Operator / Security Guard personnel supporting USAG Camp Humphreys. The Lead Guard reports to the Supervisor, serves as the alternate in the Supervisor's absence, and is the first point of escalation for operational matters.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Directly supervise on-site ESS Operator / Security Guard personnel.
-   Oversee and personally perform assigned ESS, access control, screening, and related security duties as required.
-   Provide immediate guidance during security incidents and lead first-level incident response.
-   Conduct quality control reviews of operational reports and records before submission to the Supervisor.
-   Manage shift schedules, conduct guard briefings, and review operational logs for accuracy.
-   Manage access control points, personnel screening, vehicle screening, and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
-   Maintain and review Government security records, including alarm and intrusion detection documentation.

## Requirements

-   Minimum two (2) years of experience in physical security operations.
-   Must possess and maintain an active U.S. SECRET security clearance for the life of the contract.
-   Demonstrated leadership experience, such as Shift Supervisor or Team Lead.
-   Hands-on experience operating and monitoring Electronic Security Systems (ESS), managing access control points, and conducting operator-level system checks.
-   Proficiency in shift scheduling, guard briefings, operational log review, and first-level incident response.
-   Strong background in personnel screening, vehicle screening, and enforcement of security policies and procedures
-   Schedule is based on a 40-hour work week and availability Monday through Friday; schedule is subject to change for exercise and contingency support.
