## Description

Control Risks is hiring a **GSOC Intelligence Analyst** to support a multinational semiconductor client. This role will work closely with the client's intelligence team to provide real-time threat monitoring, intelligence collection, analysis, and reporting as a part of a 24/7/365 global security operations team. The analyst will monitor open-source intelligence, social media, client-specific intelligence platforms, and internal reporting streams to identify risks to personnel, executives, facilities, assets, operations, and reputation. Particular emphasis will be placed on monitoring violence, threats of violence, protests, activism, civil unrest, negative sentiment, and other negative alerts relating to the client. The role will also support executive monitoring activities, with a focus on the CEO's movements, travel, public appearances, and overall safety.

**This role will cover the weekend Swing Shift. It will be a 4x10 schedule covering Monday-Friday 11:00 am-9:00 pm. This position will help cover 24/7/365 operations, and will require working weekends and holidays. Please confirm you are able to work this shift.**

-   Conduct continuous monitoring of open-source intelligence, social media platforms, and client-specific intelligence tools for known and emerging threats to employees, executives, assets, facilities, operations, and reputation.
-   Monitor and assess violence, threats of violence, protests, activism, civil unrest, negative sentiment, and reputational threats that may impact the client.
-   Support executive monitoring efforts focused on the CEO's travel, movements, public engagements, and safety.
-   Monitor global events and identify developments that may affect company personnel, operations, facilities, events, and executive travel, including protests, transportation disruptions, political instability, terrorism, crime, and natural disasters.
-   Draft concise, tactical intelligence products including alerts, situation reports, executive monitoring updates, incident summaries, and threat assessments for distribution to security leadership and client decision-makers.
-   Maintain situational awareness during ongoing incidents by tracking developments and providing timely updates to stakeholders.
-   Support intelligence production through research, information gathering, and collaborative analysis efforts.
-   Partner with global security stakeholders to validate emerging threats and support risk mitigation activities.
-   Deliver written and verbal briefings to security leadership and operational stakeholders as required.
-   Collaborate across shifts to ensure continuous intelligence coverage and effective handovers in a 24/7/365 GSOC environment.
-   Learn and utilize internal tools, intelligence platforms, mass notification systems, travel risk management systems, and GSOC workflows to support operational requirements.
-   Perform other operational support tasks as required in a global security operations environment.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in intelligence, national security, international relations, international security, political science, journalism, regional studies, security studies, geopolitics, or a related field preferred.
-   2-5 years of experience in intelligence analysis, research, journalism, corporate security, government, security operations, emergency operations, or a related field; internships or relevant academic experience may be considered.
-   Demonstrated interest or foundational experience in OSINT collection, social media monitoring, incident monitoring, or tactical intelligence reporting.
-   Experience or familiarity with global risk intelligence platforms, incident response software, emergency mass notification systems, travel risk management platforms, or similar tools preferred.
-   Experience evaluating open-source information, including media, social media, and government sources, to support incident analysis and threat reporting.
-   Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and timely intelligence products.
-   Ability to monitor multiple information streams, identify relevant developments, and escalate potential threats in a time-sensitive environment.
-   Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and willingness to follow structured processes and established SOPs.
-   Effective communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a team-oriented, shift-based, and operational environment.
-   Ability to work weekend shifts, and support and coverage requirements associated with a 24/7/365 GSOC environment.
