## Description

Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a **Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro Vascular Telemetry** for a top **healthcare client** in **Roanoke, VA**.  
This opportunity offers the chance to join a **high-acuity telemetry unit** specializing in the care of patients with **neurological and vascular conditions**, including stroke recovery, transient ischemic attacks (TIAs), post-neurosurgical cases, and complex medical comorbidities requiring cardiac monitoring. The RN will play a critical role in observing subtle neurological and cardiac changes, ensuring timely interventions, and supporting multidisciplinary treatment plans that drive optimal recovery outcomes.

**Job Responsibilities**

-   Deliver patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care to individuals with neurological and cardiovascular needs.
-   Conduct comprehensive assessments and monitor neurological and cardiac status using telemetry systems.
-   Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders while documenting all care in **EPIC EMR**.
-   Collaborate closely with neurology, cardiology, and rehabilitation teams to ensure continuity of care.
-   Educate patients and families about diagnosis, recovery expectations, and discharge planning.
-   Adhere to hospital safety standards, infection control policies, and core quality measures.
-   Participate in unit initiatives focused on stroke certification, quality improvement, and professional development.

## Requirements

**Education**

-   Graduate of an **accredited School of Nursing** or approved program eligible for Virginia RN licensure.

**Experience**

-   New graduates and experienced nurses are encouraged to apply.

**Certifications/Licenses**

-   **Virginia RN license** (or eligibility).
-   **CPR certification** required; **ACLS, PALS, and NRP** certifications as applicable within one year of hire.

**Skills or Competencies**
