## Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant II to join our Corporate Accounting team. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting operations, contribute to the month-end close process, and help maintain accurate financial records for the U.S. corporate entity.

The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.

**Key responsabilities:** 

-   Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with US GAAP 

-   Support month-end close activities, including accruals, amortization, depreciation, and reclassifications 

-   Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving variances 

-   Support data gathering and analysis for tax, compliance, and regulatory reporting processes 

-   Pull, organize, and retain supporting documentation for monthly close and annual audit purposes 

-   Maintain accurate documentation and accounting records 

-   Support process improvements and special projects as assigned

## Requirements

-   **Education**

-   Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
-   CPA or CPA-eligible is a plus

-   **Experience**

-   3+ years of relevant accounting experience
-   At least 2 years of experience working with U.S. GAAP standards
-   Experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations
-   Experience working with accounting or ERP systems
-   Experience working with U.S.-based teams or supporting U.S. entities
-   Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment is a plus

-   **Technical Skills**

-   Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, and basic formulas)

-   **Languages & Communication**

-   Strong English communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional and international stakeholders

-   **Soft Skills**

-   Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
-   Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
-   Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working with minimal supervision
