## Description

**Responsibilities:**

-   Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure systems to ensure high availability and performance.
-   Manage and support virtualization platforms, storage systems, and server environments.
-   Monitor system performance and implement tuning and optimization as needed.
-   Perform system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes in accordance with change management policies.
-   Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline operations.
-   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure needs and projects.
-   Ensure compliance with company security standards and best practices.
-   Participate in incident management and problem resolution.
-   Document system configurations, procedures, and operational guidelines.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
-   12+ years of experience in infrastructure systems engineering or a related field.
-   Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
-   Experience with storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and distributed file systems.
-   Good understanding of networking fundamentals and security practices.
-   Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
-   Ability to troubleshoot complex system and infrastructure issues.
-   Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
-   Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
-   Relevant certifications (e.g., VCP, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) are a plus.
