We are seeking a skilled **Database/Application Administrator** to manage and maintain our database and application infrastructure effectively.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Administer and maintain databases and related application systems ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
-   Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot database and application environments.
-   Implement database and application backup and recovery procedures to minimize downtime.
-   Manage database security, users, and access controls.
-   Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
-   Perform database tuning and query optimization to enhance performance.
-   Support migration activities including cloud migrations and database upgrades.
-   Create and maintain technical documentation and reports.
-   Participate in incident management and resolution processes.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
-   Minimum 12 years of experience in database and application administration.
-   Proficient with database technologies such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.
-   Experience with application servers and middleware technologies.
-   Strong understanding of database security, backup and recovery procedures.
-   Hands-on experience with cloud database services and migrations.
-   Good knowledge of scripting and automation tools.
-   Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
-   Ability to work effectively in multicultural and international teams.
-   Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
