We are looking for a **Junior Sommelier** to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute, learn and grow while helping shape the experiences and impact we create across Costa Navarino.

In this position, you will support wine service, storage and mise en place while developing your wine knowledge and helping guests select wines that complement their dining experience.

### Responsibilities

-   Assist with receiving, storing, organizing and replenishing wines across assigned outlets.
-   Prepare wine-service mise en place and maintain wine-service equipment and areas.
-   Present and serve wines according to approved procedures and guidance.
-   Maintain accurate wine-list information and report availability changes promptly.
-   Develop wine knowledge and support guest recommendations, pairings and responsible selling.
-   Communicate guest questions and service issues to the Sommelier, Head Sommelier or Restaurant Management.
-   Participate in wine tastings and training while following responsible alcohol service, company policies, Brand Standards, SOPs and Health & Safety requirements.

## Requirements

-   Wine studies or a recognized wine qualification is preferred.

-   Previous restaurant or wine-service experience is an advantage.
-   Good knowledge of wine, wine service and food pairing, with a commitment to continuous learning.
-   Good command of English.
-   Strong guest-service and communication skills, with a guest-focused and service-oriented approach.
-   Strong interest in selling and upselling, with the ability to make appropriate wine recommendations.
-   Effective teamwork and cross-departmental collaboration skills.
-   Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, with proper wine storage and handling practices.
-   Ability to remain composed and effective during busy periods.
-   Flexibility to work varying shifts according to operational needs.
